Job Description:

GS International is hiring dedicated and compassionate Social Care Workers to support children and young people in residential care settings across Ireland. This role is suited for individuals with experience in child and youth care, psychology, or social care who are committed to making a positive impact in young lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with children and young people in residential care settings.
• Provide daily support, structure, and supervision in line with care plans.
• Assist in developing care and placement plans with a multidisciplinary team.
• Support children with complex needs in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Promote independence, personal development, and well-being of service users.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required.
• Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.

Requirements:

• Level 7 or higher degree in Social Care, Psychology, Youth & Community Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in social care or youth work.
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and under supervision.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to relocating to Ireland.
