Job Description:

We are seeking kind, reliable, and dedicated Home Carers to support individuals in their own homes. As a Home Carer, you will help clients maintain independence and quality of life by assisting with personal care, daily tasks, and companionship. Your work will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you care for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility including transferring, walking, and the use of aids.
• Help with preparing meals, feeding if required, and ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Prompt or assist with medication administration according to care plans.
• Carry out light household duties like cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in a respectful manner.
• Report changes in client condition to supervisors promptly and accurately.
• Keep clear and timely records of care provided and any incidents.
• Uphold client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

• Genuine passion for helping others live safely and comfortably at home.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and work under supervision.
• Respect for client privacy, confidentiality, and professional standards.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A valid driving licence is required.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in a care role is essential.
• Care Certificate or equivalent training qualification.
• Basic first aid training or willingness to complete training.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control.
