Job Description:

GS International is actively recruiting dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our expanding team. You will support patients in rehabilitation and residential settings, providing high-quality care while promoting dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personal care and assistance in line with individual care plans.
• Support mobility and rehabilitation activities as required.
• Assist with meals, feeding, and maintaining proper nutrition.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and reassurance.
• Assist with medication prompting under supervision.
• Carry out light household and daily living support tasks.
• Maintain accurate care records and promptly report concerns.
• Ensure safety, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (or equivalent qualification).
• At least 2 years of experience working in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
• Good knowledge of cognitive rehabilitation techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and under supervision.
